World champion speed skater Jordan Stolz joins VOLO Athlete program

VOLO Health, a data science company dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to transform health with data-driven insights, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with World Champion speed skater Jordan Stolz.

At just 21 years old, Stolz has quickly established himself as one of the most dominant figures in long track speed skating. The current world record holder in the 1000m, he captured the 2024 World Allaround Championships to become the youngest male to claim the crown in 46 years. He won gold at the 2023 World Speed Skating Championships in 2023, becoming the youngest single distance winner in history. In 2023, he became the first male skater to win three individual gold medals at a single World Speed Skating Championships, a feat he repeated in 2024. Stolz is the first person to win titles in three separate distances at the Senior and Junior World Champions in the same year, which he accomplished in 2023. The Wisconsin native learned to skate on his backyard pond as a child and is today widely recognized as one of the sport’s most promising and accomplished athletes.

“Jordan exemplifies the values of discipline and excellence, which align perfectly with Voloridge Health’s mission,” said David S. Vogel, CEO of VOLO Health. “His commitment to using data to push the boundaries of his training and performance mirrors our own approach. We are excited to support Jordan by providing advanced insights from blood, genetics, and proteomics testing – modalities that bring new understanding to the world of speed skating. With these tools, we look forward to helping him elevate his performance on the ice.”

Voloridge Health builds advanced analytical tools, turning complex health data into proactive insights, to try to help people optimize their health. By integrating multivariate data, they uncover patterns and relationships in the data points. These insights can translate into personalized health strategies, empowering individuals to improve their well-being.

“I’m thrilled to collaborate with VOLO Health,” said Stolz. “Their innovative approach to improve health with data resonates with me as an athlete who relies on precision and analytics to perform my best. Every stride I take is measured, every split time analyzed, every detail accounted for – that’s how I compete at the highest level. Voloridge’s data science expertise and focus on diverse health indicators that I haven’t measured before equip me with key knowledge to inform my training plan, as now I will have additional metrics from the inside out.”
